With us into the future ...

We would like to give you an impression of the training at the Grafschaft Bentheim district. However, it can only be a small glimpse, because as broad as the range of tasks of a local government is, as diverse are the training and employment opportunities in our administration.

The training at the Grafschaft Bentheim district begins for all new trainees with the so-called introductory days, which are organized by the trainees in their second year of training. During these days we would like to prepare you for your entry into everyday training. Here you will get to know all new trainees, trainers, training coordinators and some colleagues. The organization of the district administration as well as the branch offices are presented and visited. During the days together there are many activities, such as the sponsor barbecue, where you can get to know your training sponsor for the next 3 years.

During their training, our junior employees pass through the various specialist areas and departments of the district administration. You can find more information here. In the various departments, the trainees implement the theory that they learn in the vocational school, at the study institute or in the university of applied sciences for public administration. Experienced and qualified trainers support our junior staff in this.

After completing their training, the administrative clerks and candidates (B.A. General Administration / Public Administration) can be employed in almost all areas of local government. The graduates of the apprenticeship occupations such as the IT specialist or the event manager cannot be employed in all areas of administration, but they can often be taken on for a limited period. In addition, everyone is trained for the public as well as for the private labor market. The training can also be a good basis for studying.
