I have received a commitment from the above companies. It is about BI IT Consulting.

Which brand is stronger?

The aim is to learn a lot and at some point to look for an exit into industry.

For me personally, pwc> capgemini = accenture
I would decide after personal fit, none of them take much

take pwc more projects with other focal points and exit into other areas possible.

PwC. A few years ago we bought cundus, which was one of the leading BI companies in DE.

Would also tend to prefer pwc, as better opportunities for upgrading.

reply

Sorry, but half of the cundus people migrated to Acc and Cap.
When it comes to tech topics, I would always go to the market leaders and never to WPGs.

PWC

Here is someone who was in the tech area at PwC and managed a very good exit for me personally:

I recommend PwC if you would like to be more involved in management issues in the future. Cap and Acc are very professional and very good at it. However, IT is increasingly being discussed in higher management, and PwC has even more of a general consultant / WP hat, which is still very popular with board members. We were always involved in strategically interesting topics through cross projects where the pure IT consultancy was often too technical, we had a broad perspective. However, if you want to specialize in IT and have a clear focus on topics (e.g. AI) I would go to Acc.

I (Dax30 Purchasing) had PwC just 3 times in the pitch for various tenders. Been underground three times. So it's hard to understand why PwC is so hyped here.

Because individual cases have no informative value. Another person tells me that Accenture is nothing but junk. You have to look at the entire industry, and in my opinion PwC BI has the strongest brand in the industry.

Go to the specialists, of course. And that's where Accenture has the strongest brand. That one even comes up with the idea of preferring a Big4 to the market leader for IT Consulting

Then please show me a statistic that confirms that.
Because the whole PwC has the strongest brand and the best skills posts can come from a single person or even from PwC HR itself. This seems to me to be very much like PwC hype, which has little or nothing to do with reality.

Are you here for the second time today in the forum? Otherwise nobody can be so stupid and speak of a hype of the BIG4 in the forum here.

I spent 9 months at Cap in IT consulting as a working student and can only say an absolute disaster. The dev teams did their job very well, the IT consultants ....... Mostly FH students & failed long-term students who have absolutely no relation to IT and accordingly only carry out 90% PMO tasks. In principle, you have zero leeway in terms of the possibility of conceptualizing solutions. The IT division of Cap is only charged with the implementation! Anyone who has ever worked in consulting knows that several consultations are working on one project. The responsibility for the conception of the software solution (i.e. what is actually exciting) is logically not handed over to Cap's ideas. If you / you are only interested in working on digital solution concepts, PwC is preferable to Cap / Acc.

By the way, on the projects I worked on, 2x OW and 1x ATK were responsible for the digital solution.

Well, the cool things are made by Invent at Cap, that should be clear.

Sounds more like frustration that you haven't received an offer after 9 months, but you did from PwC?
Either way, this is not about the implementation areas, but about BI consulting.
