Nguyen is the most popular surname in Vietnam.

when translated literally, "Viet Anh" means "Vietnamese English" hahaha

actually I don't see any meaning of the name, people like the name "Anh" and there are a hundred combinations with the word as a name e.g. Lan Anh, Nam Anh, Bao Anh, Huy Anh, Tam Anh ... so no meaning!

Hello Viet Anh,
I think that your parents gave you the name VIET ANH with the following meaning:

-VIET: In memory of your homeland Vietnam
-ANH: is an air of Intelligent.

You can often see MINH ANH, TINH ANH, ANH DUNG ~ together.
MINH is intelligent plus ANH appear even clearer, brighter.
TINH is an even stronger form of wisdom, with ANH it is more brilliant.
DUNG ~ is strength, with ANH is with the help of strength to success.

Best wishes

viet = viết

or

viet = việt

anh = ánh

or

anh = anh

i.e .:

Nguyen Viet Anh = Nguyen Việt Anh

or

Nguyen Viet Anh = Nguyen Việt Ánh

or

Nguyen Viet Anh = Nguyen Viết Anh

or

Nguyen Viet Anh = Nguyen Viết Ánh

One more note:
Anh is pretty much the only name I can think of that is used almost exclusively as a double name, for boys / men as well as girls / women:

A "Nguyen Viet Minh" would usually be addressed as a "Minh". A "Nguyen Viet Anh" would almost always be addressed as a "Viet Anh". Maybe because "Anh Anh" or "Em Anh" or "Chi Anh" sound a little weird.

VN native speakers may correct and / or add to me!

"Việt Anh" simply means "Vietnamese genius"

"Anh" is Vietnam. Spoken sound for the Chinese word "extraordinarily talented (human)" → genius

Anh Dũng → extraordinary. brave (human)

For Vietnamese:

"Anh" = người có tài năng xuất chúng

“Anh Dũng” → có tinh thần can đảm khác thường

"Quang Huy" means "ray of light" or "ray of sun"

“Quang” is Vietnam. Spoken sound for the Chinese word "radiate, radiation"

"Huy" means "light" or "sunlight" in Chinese
